The birth of TwinkleToes Apparel came from 2 different sources....My husband and my students.

First, my husband. I have many nicknames, but the one he came up for me was TwinkleToes because he thought it was funny and my life is consumed by dance. Whether I'm taking class, performing, teaching class, or at home practicing in the kitchen or twirling down the hallway, my toes are always twinkling! So, when I thought about a business name for my private coaching and the apparel line, the only natural fit for a business name was TwinkleToes.

Then came my students....I love them like they are my own. So as a mother, if any of my own children go outside without dressing properly, I will ask them where the rest of their clothes are! This goes the same for my students, always coming to and going from class with just a leotard and tights on. No pants, no shirts, no jackets, no shorts, and the list goes on and on. No matter how may times I tell them to wear clothes to class, they just wont listen. So, this triggered a brilliant idea, that if I could make fashionable dance apparel that can be worn to the studio (easily slip on and off), and worn out on the town (shopping, going out to dinner), and made by their teacher, they would have the incentive to dress properly.
